You both are so right, life just gets in the way of painting/creating sometimes. All its distractions… That working all day on something and then spending the next 2 days painting over it has to be the worst – talk about false labor!

Well my wish for us this upcoming year is that we all have loads of magical creation days! May the angels speak through our fingers and bless the world with our work!

(That is, of course, after the email is read, the music adjusted, the phone calls answered and the tea made…LOL!)

NO KIDDING!!! I love the “I need music, it’s too quite in here” LOL! Also when you work ALL DAY and end up with a blah piece of work and your whole day feels wasted. But then the magical days come where it flows out as if it was meant to be, and suddenly “WOW, IT”S A BEAUTY”!

Oh, I can certainly relate to this description Kimberly! I’m just lucky if I get to the “blank canvas” part to begin with…

“I think I’ll just check my email real quick, before I get started!”

But totally – sometimes it flows…….. and is just like you said – angels though your fingertips!! I know what you mean!

How eye opening…I agree our children deserve more than a “cookie cutter” way of teaching, because they all learn so differently! it would be great to see more “holistic learning” at home, and in our schools….thanks for your thoughts and advice Kimberly..

Hey, thanks for the vote of support!

In my children’s books I create a rather ‘other dimension’ school which utilizes the children’s personal interests to the max. While a fantasy land, for sure (at least in this limited 4D world), the principles I describe would certainly facilitate a group of children to grow into a responsible group of adults. Ahhh, a critically thinking population… can you just imagine?
